Dinner:  Slanted Door (Out the Door is a sister restaurant)

Drinks:

Redwood Room (in the Clift Hotel) – good for dinner too (a few years ago)

Other:

Ferry Building – farmer’s market on Saturday = incredible.  During the week they are still open and still worth a stop (blue bottle coffee and Slanted Door are here).

De Young – awesome museum near the Chinese Tea Gardens and some other museums in Golden Gate Park.

Sausalito – ferry ride or drive across the bay, neat little town

Muir Woods – check out the redwoods

Touristy:

Lombard Street

Sea Lions on Pier 39

Cable Cars

Ghirardelli Square – yes, the chocolate!

Golden Gate Bridge (take pics!)
